A few months ago my buddy brian wanted me to do a painting for him. I got around to it. To quote him, "finally, you move as slow as molasses when it comes to this.. i am thinking of some epic piece of art that has some sort of profound meeting. good defeating evil, God showing off his greatness, destruction of a great city with the hero standing in victory. however, do what comes to you, but that is what i am kind of looking for."
I was spot on on what he wanted, well only in the process. I like to mimic God in how He creates. First He creates, destroys, then recreates us. This is how God works in conquering the sin in us. He breaks us and makes us into something so much better.

indian missionary

A missionary to the american indian tribes once noted that when he first visited one of the tribes they sacrificed pure white dogs to atone for their sins.
